Ap. Prof. Priv.-Doz. Dr. Dr. Benedikt Weber, MAS, CAS, FEBDV
Benedikt Weber serves as a senior physician at the Department of Dermatology of the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he mainly focuses on venous diseases (phlebology), chronic wounds, lymphatic diseases (lymphology), photodermatology as well as surgical dermatology. His major interventional focus is the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency using endovenous laser therapy as well as foam sclerotherapy.
Already during his training in Switzerland Prof. Weber specialized in the treatment of vascular diseases of the skin. Back in Vienna he completed a fellowship in vascular medicine (Angiology) at the Vienna General Hospital. Prof. Weber serves as a board member as well as secretary of the Austrian Society of Phlebology. He also serves as the medical director of the austrian certification course in foam sclerotherapy. Since 2020 Prof. Weber practices as a private physician in Vienna and treats patients suffering from dermatological, venereological or phlebological pathologies.
